Visitors to Dubai should not miss this informative place. Entrance is a nominal 3AED for adults and 1AED for children. History and museum fanatics should plan to spend 2-3 hours in this museum as there are various video shows from historic times. One can quickly breeze through the museum in about 30 minutes, but a leisure stroll with some photography would need about 1 hour. Over the course of 181 days, from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, Expo 2020 Dubai will present innovations, share ideas and foster collaboration in line with its overarching theme of Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. The actual museum is housed underground which provides an overview of the life in Dubai in olden times. Dubai has an unparalleled reputation when it comes to innovative, award-winning and visionary architecture. Expo 2020 Dubai will showcase and explore what is possible when new ideas and people connect. The courtyard houses some old boats and cannons along with a well. It is housed in an old and restored Al Fahidi fort. This museum provides a historic view of Dubai and its people before the current modernization.
